Heroes in Hiding
Heroes in Hiding are one of the most exciting new indie bands in the Ireland at the moment. Following the release of their EP, “Hush”, in March 2014, they were booked as the only Irish act to play at this year’s inaugural Secret Solstice International Music and Arts Festival in Iceland on the 20th June 2014. The festival hosted a wide range of international acts including Massive Attack, Disclosure, Banks, Mum, Skream, Eats Everything and many more.
Heroes in Hiding took to the stage for their first headline show in 3 years on Friday 13th June 2014 in the Grand Social, Dublin. The near sold out show was to celebrate the release of their first single, “Can’t Dance” to iTunes, which went straight in at Number 16 in the Irish iTunes Chart. Dublin Concerts.ie reviewed the Show and said "Their set just sizzled of a charismatic indie charm and demonstrated that besides being talented musicians, there’s a gifted songwriter in their midst also."
H.i.H have also played Life Festival 2014 and fans of the band will also be able to catch them on the Main Stages of Castle Palooza Festival in Tullamore and Le Cheile Music Festival in Meath this August Bank Holiday 2014 along side some big acts like Gruff Rhys, Gavin James, The Minutes, Ryan Sheridan, O’Emperor, We Cut Corners and Heathers.
Since the release of “Hush” Heroes in Hiding have been played and interviewed on 98FM’s Ray Foley Show, FM 104’s Open Mic, Dublin City FM and John Murray from RTE Radio 1 said they could be “Ireland’s next indie hit makers” before closing his show with Hush.
